Get ready for your move
Prepping your items
Packing the truck
Our 26-ft. trucks fit, on average, a 1400-1600 sq. ft. home. Please note, if a home is packed with an excessive amount of items, this will change. An average truck load takes approximately 5-8 hours from start to finish, although times will vary per move.
Stairs, elevators, and distance to and from the truck will play a part in time of the job. Customer preparedness will help the most with ensuring the job is done as smoothly and quickly as possible. We will work diligently to get the job done in an efficient manner.
Please have ALL items that can be boxed, safely boxed and secured with tape. Also, labeling boxes can help tremendously with the time it takes unloading. You can also place small signs on top of door frames in the new home to match the box labels accordingly (i.e. Bedroom 1, Bedroom 2, Play room, Kitchen, Living room, etc.). Placing boxes close to entrances of home and/or garage will also help speed up the moving process.
Please disassemble large furniture (i.e. beds, dresser mirrors, kitchen table, etc) Tip: Pack all hardware collected on disassembly in a small bag (Ziplocs work great), and label the bag to avoid confusion.
