This was my second time hiring this company, and they absolutely met my expectations again.

I was in the middle of an incredibly stressful situation. This was my second move in two weeks, and I had to move out of a place almost immediately after moving in due to living conditions and things that had been overpromised. I was emotionally, mentally, physically, and financially exhausted.

My biggest concern was staying within my budget. I made it clear upfront that I needed to stop right at the 2-hour mark, and unlike some moving companies, Firefighters Move U never tried to upsell me or drag out the clock. They were honest, strategic, and respectful of my budget from start to finish.

Logan and Jackson were fantastic. Since I was moving from a third-floor apartment into storage, I asked them to focus on the larger items that required the most muscle and would have been the hardest for me to move myself. They worked efficiently, planned ahead, and timed everything perfectly so there was enough time left within my 2-hour budget to unload everything into my storage unit. That level of professionalism and consideration meant so much during a very stressful time.

The booking team was equally wonderful. Gabriella provided excellent customer service and was warm, patient, and understanding when I needed updated estimates and schedule adjustments. Everyone I interacted with was kind, personable, and flexible—including when I needed a little flexibility with tipping the crew.

What stood out most was that they genuinely seemed to care about helping relieve stress rather than adding to it. They were professional, hardworking, respectful, and incredibly easy to work with.

After hiring them twice and having two positive experiences, I can confidently say I would hire them a third time without hesitation and recommend them to anyone looking for a smooth, honest, and stress-free moving experience.

My family of four (soon to be five) moved from Lexington Ky to southern Indiana. Everything was handled professionally and carefully. Quote was very close to actual expense.

This was the first time for us to use a professional service and the whole experience was as smooth as possible: quote, follow up, packing service, move. The only minor issue was due to Google Maps trying to send the moving truck through a narrow alley, but those are the fun stories.

Their professional packing was handled by a crew of three and was wrapped up after 5.5 hours, 6 hour estimate. Price was fair and nothing but positive things to say. Everything was secure and made ready for the next day.

The day of the move, Billy showed up with his crew and they packed the truck to the brim. They worked quickly and handled everything with care. Again this was as smooth as possible, taking as much stress off me and my family as possible. Google did try to send them through an alley so we did have a call from a confused crew that we handled quickly.

Overall wonderful group to work with. We got a call the day after to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, so I have to commend their follow through. Firefighters Move U did an amazing job. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous company. My move kept getting delayed and they worked with me to make it happen. My guys were fantastic and so wonderful to my 2 puppies. With all the hiccups I encountered, they were just so accommodating.

Today was our first experience with Firefighters Move U and everything went exceptionally well -even in the rain! Given the rain, I was concerned. Our team promptly arrived and carefully protected each piece of furniture. At the new address they used floor protection to help keep the floor clean. This was my second move with Fire Fighter Movers.1st move down the street, second one 2.5 hours away. Todd and Brice were professional efficient and fast. We had them move furniture out of rooms so the other stuff would fit. Reasonably priced as well. Very satisfied with the service!!!

I just used Firefighters Move U for a small local move and they were fast and professional. They discussed placement of items before moving things into the apartment and handled a large banker’s desk with ease. I am very pleased with the job they did and will definitely use them again for future moves! I’ve already recommended them to several people with upcoming moves.

We hired FFMU again for another move and it was another 10/10 experience. We even had Mike, who moved us two years ago, on our crew which made the experience even better since we had already worked with him before. Mike M, Todd, Brandon, and Bryce were the A-Team. They were a really fun crew to work with. Moving is miserable but moving with this crew wasn’t! I’ve worked with other companies in town and will never not hire FFMU.

July 2024:
We recently hired Firefighters Move U for a large move and it was truly the best experience! I felt like we were assigned the dream team - John, Mike, Damont and Jordan. They were incredibly friendly and professional and their work ethic was top notch. They worked together incredibly well which made the move seamless. We've used other local companies for moves over the years and hands down I'd recommend Firefighters Move U over and over again moving forward.

We moved from KY to FL last week and we had a great experience with Fire Fighters Move U KY. Billy came over and took a look at all our stuff to see how many trucks we would need, also gave us some advice on how to pack to maximize space. He was able to accommodate us in a very short notice even though we already talked to him in the past we weren’t sure about the date that we would need to move and he was able to book us in perfect time to be in FL. Jackson and David were our movers, they were extremely nice and fast. All of our furniture arrived in perfect condition. They were efficient, respectful and very good at communicating with us throughout the move. We really liked that they were the ones that loaded the truck in KY and unloaded in FL, they also had to drive my husband’s car which was super convenient for us so we didn’t have to book a different company . We would recommend them 100%!

Damont and Azeno were excellent. They showed up a little early but didn’t pressure to get started to allow us time to get little things out of the way like getting our baby up and out of the house. When they got started they moved quick and with no complaint about any of the items to be moved and were very respectful of me, my family, and our truckload to be moved. 10/10 recommend.

Ahead of my move, Billy came, explained the process, and provided an estimate on time, followed-up, and answered my questions timely. Additionally, he allocated additional truck with resources on the day of the move just in case if needed. Day of the move, Firefighters Moves U crew arrived on time and moved everything from one place to another with smile, fun, and most importantly without damaging anything. The floors were protected with carpets, doors were protected with blankets, and no damage to the walls, boxes, appliances, and furniture. They disassembled and assembled all furniture without any complaints and managed to move appliances through small space. This team truly made my move stress free. Thank you guys!

Our interstate move last Saturday combined 2 households into one. Billy our move coordinator sent Jackson, Zeno and Andrew to
do the heavy lifting and they were pleasant, easy to work with and very agreeable to moving items around. I have a hospital bed that needed taking apart and reassembling and they did a fine job. Professional, nice and courteous moving team. They worked together great and accomplished all the things we needed within the 2hr window that I booked. I feel like they went above and beyond what other moving companies do. I will use them and recommend them in the future.

Bryce and Jackson helped my family move houses and did a great job. We felt like we were in safe hands and did not have to worry at all. They took their time to do things carefully and were fun to talk with. And the price was way lower than other companies!

We moved my mother-in-law from a duplex into a home owned by her niece and her husband. We were impressed with Jackson and John from the moment they arrived on time. Driving a clean apparently well maintained truck with a lift gate loaded with several straps, plenty of padded blankets, shrink wrap and two dollies. The guys were pleasant, polite and in a good mood. They handled everything with care and wrapped everything before moving the item. They were quick and efficient but not rushed. We experienced the same service when we arrived at the new location. Throughout the move they asked if we needed anything else moved. They left mid-afternoon headed to another move about an hour away. They exceeded our expectations.
