Your Payment Options

We accept four convenient payment methods for moving services throughout Lexington and surrounding areas. Each option has its own advantages depending on your preferences and situation.

Cash Payment

Cash is the simplest payment method – no processing fees, no paperwork beyond your receipt. If you prefer to pay with cash, just let us know and have payment ready when we complete your move. It’s straightforward and works well for many customers who like to handle transactions directly.

Check Payment

We accept business checks without issue. Personal checks are also accepted, though we reserve the right to refuse them in certain situations. When paying by check, you’ll need to provide a picture ID that matches the name on the check. This protects both you and our business by verifying the transaction.

A $30 fee applies to any returned checks, so please ensure funds are available before writing your payment.

Credit and Debit Cards

Most customers prefer the convenience of paying by card. We accept major credit and debit cards for your moving services. A 3% processing fee is added to the total invoice amount when you choose this payment method. This fee covers the costs card processors charge our business, and we keep it as low as possible while staying transparent about the actual cost.

For example, if your move costs $500, the card processing fee would be $15, bringing your total to $515. We calculate this clearly on your invoice so you know exactly what you’re paying.

ACH Transfer

ACH bank transfers offer another electronic payment option with a lower processing fee than cards. We charge a 2% fee on the total invoice amount for ACH payments. This method works well for customers who prefer direct bank transfers and want to save slightly on processing costs compared to cards.

Using the same example, a $500 move would have a $10 ACH fee, totaling $510 – a bit less than the card option while still offering electronic payment convenience.

When Payment Is Due

Payment is expected upon completion of your move unless you’ve arranged different terms with us in advance. This means when our crew finishes unloading at your new location and you’re satisfied with the service, it’s time to settle up.

If you need to arrange alternative payment terms—perhaps for a large commercial move or special circumstances—contact us before moving day. We’re reasonable people and can often work something out, but these arrangements must be made ahead of time, not after the move is complete.
